The Fifth Grade

Orchestra Note Olympics

The Fifth grade Note Olympic Games are now finished. The Note Olympics was a means to learn the names of the pitches while having fun. Each student began the game with 20 notes on a staff. When the student could successfully write the names of the notes in two minutes or less, he/she moved on to the next level. To become an Olympic Note Champion a student had to meet the challenge of 60 pitches in 2 minutes or less! All champions received a trophy or a medal, compliments of BASS. The following students were Note Olympic Champions: Emily Morris, Lizzy Taylor, Natasha Davis, Adam Greening, Maggie Sunker, Theresa Weals, Andrea Marx, Kara Sheerer, Rachael West, Cody Blessing, Tricia Hale, Sara Hefel, Malorie Kulp, Hannah Laubacher, Kent Li, Cory Montell, Katharina Zardinskas, Chelsie Blackburn, Fawn Berry, Kenneth Bringenberg, Cassie Gillenwater, Harry Harris, Amber McKenzie, Jasmine Suber-Waters, Wendy Walker, Ashley West, Mark Zellefrow, Erin Greene, Andrea Pautsch Proncee Coleman and Amber Parsons.
