The Fifth Grade Orchestra Note Olympics

The Fifth grade Note Olympic Games are now finished. The Note Olympics was a means of learning the names of the pitches while having fun. Each student began the game with 20 notes on a staff. When the student could successfully write the names of the notes in two minutes or less, he/she moved on to the next level. To become an Olympic Note Champion a student had to meet the challenge of 60 pitches in 2 minutes or less! All champions received a trophy compliments of BASS. The following students were Note Olympic Champions: Kimberly Crist, Laura Hall, Emily Kaufman, Logan McKenzie, Ginnie Vogelgesang, Kelzey Wilson, Christy Black, Beth Muncy, Melissa Slater, Sonja Jobin, Ashley Reed, Emily Bean, Chrissy Bridges, Brittiny Hardman, Michael Bridges, Michael Craycraft, Emily Dixon, Brittany Rice, Maya Thumboli, Raquel Dunn, Cori Hagans, Cory Adams, Molly Cline, Cari Coriell, Josh Coy, Melanie Kaufman, Richard Kuespert, Ian McCune, Cameron Mitchell, Samantha Ronde, Melanie Simcox, Alfred Smith, Maggie Tucker, Jack Andrews, Jared Hulet, Elizabeth Newell, Areil Zambrano, Shannon Zimmerman, Suzy Anderson, Iman Ellis, Michael Scarberry, and Natalie Zwicker.
