Bingo
The
Orchestra program is responsible for providing volunteers on the fourth Saturday
of every month to help the Touchdown Club with Bingo. Our volunteers work from
5:30 pm to about 9:45 pm.
In return for our volunteer help, the Touchdown Club monetarily helps the
Orchestra. In previous years the Touchdown Club has purchased three high quality
instruments, provided items for the Awards Night, and helped send all the Middle
School and Junior High Orchestra students to the symphony. This year they are
purchasing stands with lights, a conductor’s podium, and tuners.
It is a win-win situation for the Orchestra.
Bingo
is played every Monday and Saturday evening at the Touchdown Club’s Bingo Hall
next to Odd Lots (corner of Livingston & Brice ). Orchestra parents may
volunteer any evening and receive credit even though we are responsible
for the 4th Saturday. You must sign in every time you work in order
for the Orchestra to get credit. Please write “BASS” or “Orchestra” on
the form where it says “group.” You earn two BASS camp/trip credits
each time you work. Call Terry Back
if you have not been contacted and are willing to work.
We particularly need help for December.
Please, if you volunteer to work and then find you cannot meet your
commitment, contact Terry Back. It is very important that BASS meets the minimum
worker quota. Thank you!
