High School Orchestra Heads to Nashville

On Friday, October 31, 57 high school orchestra students, 13 chaperones and 3 teachers will "hit the road" for the sights and sounds of Nashville, Tennessee! When we arrive that evening we will attend a "swing" concert by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra (www.nashvillesymphony.org) featuring a vocal quintet called "Five By Design" (www.fivebydesign.com).

On Saturday we will tour Music City USA ending at the Hermitage (President Andrew Jackson's home) before we head for dinner and an evening at the Grand Ol' Opry (www.opry.com).

Sunday morning we will have a 2 hour recording session and a tour of the recording studio before we enjoy an afternoon of free time and shopping! We will finish the evening with a dinner cruise (with live entertainment) aboard the beautiful General Jackson Riverboat (www.generaljackson.com).

Monday morning we will have a clinic with a member of the Nashville Symphony before we head for home. Arriving back in Reynoldsburg between 9:00 and 10:00 that night, we will ALL enjoy that fact that there is NO SCHOOL the next day!
